The present study suggests that MDR1 C3435T and G2677T/A polymorphisms are a risk factor for nephrotic syndrome among Egyptian children. MDR1 C1236T polymorphisms dont present that risk.And only MDR1 G2677T/A was significantly expressed in steroid resistant NS in comparison with steroid sensitive NS.can we open discussion about other countries and other age onset nephrotic syndrome
